What we do

Sunday Service

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10.30 a.m. You are invited to stay for coffee or tea after the service. Toilets and baby change facilities are available. Young Church activities for children of all ages start upstairs after praise & worship in the main church.

Please note, we do live stream all our services on YouTube.

Full details of events at BAUC are available below in our Church Family News section.

As well as our weekly church service on a Sunday at 10.30 a.m., we also host Christmas, Easter and Pentecost celebrations. Baptisms, weddings and funerals may also be booked, please contact us for further information.

Prayer

We believe prayer is powerful and is central to everything we do. Personal prayer is offered at each service, and we also meet in small informal groups.

Bi-monthly we hold a special day of prayer called ‘Twelve One Prayer’. This takes place in our prayer room, ‘The Upper Room’ and is followed by Praise and Worship in our Church.

We also encourage our church family to join our private and confidential prayer group on social media. This enables immediate prayer cover when needed.

Church Family News

Church Family News (CFN) is published weekly for the benefit of church members and adherents. It is incredibly informative and interactive. Through this you can find out everything you could possibly want to know about the life of the church! It also provides links to our online services and Bible reading series.

Bible Study Group

We are committed to ‘Seeing Jesus Together’ (SJT), a journal approach to prayerful reading of the Word and sharing notes through various small discipleship groups. We have WhatsApp groups for members for “Going Deeper” and “Bible Bits” to share our learning. Our intention is to get to know and love the Lord Jesus more by reading His Word.

Please speak to a leader or contact us if you would like to know more.

Young Church

Crèche: The crèche is situated in the garden room which has access to the garden and is a bright, safe area with soft play and toys for toddlers and babies. There are comfy seats and the kitchen is close by as are the changing and toilet facilities. A TV screen relays the main service so that parents and carers don’t miss out on the service.

The Beach Room: This is where the younger children’s group meets. Designed for whole group use, this room has multi-media resources, a puppet theatre, snooker and table tennis, table football, quiet corner, craft facilities and a washing up area. Sessions are taken from “Scripture Union Light” books.

The Chill Room: This is where the older children meet. It is designed with comfy sofas, coffee table, throws, cushions, and wall art.
